Ask the Record is an AI-powered research tool that searches and summarizes declassified US government documents. Answers are generated by AI and cite the underlying source documents. The service is intended for research, education, and general interest — not as a substitute for legal, intelligence, or professional advice.
AI-generated answers may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. We make no warranty that any answer is complete, accurate, or current. All cited source documents are in the public domain as works of the United States government — we do not hold copyright over them. Always verify important information against the original document.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your account or use the service to circumvent the question limits of another account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
